Applications for this year's Taylor Metcalf 3-on-3 Tournament will be available in early 2020.
The Metcalf Cup is a memorial tournament for an Oxford youth hockey player, Taylor Metcalf, who lost his life in a car accident in 1995. Taylor loved playing hockey. After the accident, the Metcalf Fund and the Metcalf Cup were started to provide support for kids to play youth hockey and as a way to keep Taylor's memory alive. The fund helps to pay ice fees for players who otherwise may not be able to play this amazing sport. All proceeds from the tournament go to the Metcalf Fund. We keep prices reasonable and have a four game guarantee.
We are grateful for your support and will do everything we can to make this a good experience for you and your families. Please feel free to pass this to parents if you think it is appropriate. Also, if you think appropriate, please pass on to other teams that you believe would be a good fit for this event.
The Taylor Metcalf Cup Annual Tournament typically is held in March each year
We regret that the 2020 tournament has been cancelled due to activity restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hopefully will see everyone in 2021!
